A full agency-management CRM I designed and built solo for a California insurance agency - markets, contacts, underwriting appetite, projects, tasks, and documents in one system the team runs on daily.

Problem

The agency's institutional knowledge lived in inboxes and spreadsheets. Finding which carrier would write which risk meant asking whoever remembered.

System

GoldenDesk models the real domain: markets with directories and underwriting appetite, projects with wikis and work logs, tasks, notes, and a universal document layer - all linked, all searchable.

Build

Designed the schema, built the app, and shipped it while running operations. It now has its own MCP server, so AI agents read and write agency records as first-class tools.

Result

It replaced the spreadsheet-and-memory workflow as the agency's system of record.

What it proves

It proves I can take a messy real-world operation and turn it into software people actually run their day in.
